Accupuncture

Derived from the the Latin words "myo" - meaning muscle, and "fascia" - for band; myofascial release therapy releases tension from the fibrous bands of connecting tissue (fascia).Myofascial release therapy aims to free constrictions or blockages in the fascia, thereby alleviating problems with connective tissue scarring or injury.

Acupuncture has been practiced in the Far East for thousands of years.

The philosophy behind the treatment is that the body's energy flows along so-called "meridians," which are curves or line which circulate around the body. This energy flow is call qi (pronounced, "chee"). When the qi is impaired or interrupted, illness occurs.

The acupuncturist inserts very thin needles at various points on suspected meridians to restore the qi and allow the body's energy balance to be restored, and the illness removed. The flow of energy can be impaired or interrupted disrupted either through emotional upset, physical trauma, poor diet, or stress. The acupuncturist examines the underlying cause and its effect on the body, and then determines the most appropriate treatment.

The acupuncturists at our office are among the best in the United States, having spent cumulatively decades in the practice of this healing art. Call us today to make an appointment, or use our online appointment form to contact our office.

The reason I began Chiropractic was that my back was painful. Interestingly, now I realize
that my back was a very small issue. I have experienced amazing changes. Pain has
helped me learn much more about myself.
This approach is such a gift! ...

My blood pressure is now lower that it was
15 years ago (especially amazing since
I've had high blood pressure for the last 5 years). I also feel like my body is longer. My spine is changing dramatically. Thank you.”
